A Beloved Local Restaurant With No Digital Presence

Jake’s Texas Tea House had no website or digital presence, relying entirely on in-person discovery and word of mouth. The challenge was to design a first online experience that attracts new visitors while capturing the restaurant’s retro character and welcoming atmosphere. The website needed to feel like the restaurant itself, while making menus, location, and essential information instantly easy to find for both local and international guests.

Bringing a Retro Texas Restaurant Online

I designed a website that brings the restaurant’s retro atmosphere and personality into the digital space, while keeping essential information quick and easy to access. Alongside the website, I introduced marketing that speaks to the core 35+ audience but remains welcoming for new visitors. We also launched targeted campaigns and continue building brand awareness to support long-term growth.
